College Station Police — Bureaus
The bureau that keeps the department organized, accountable, and connected — records, evidence, communications, and technology.
The Administrative Services Bureau supports and strengthens every other part of the department. It brings the Information Services Division, the Communications Division, the Support Services Division, and Technical Services together under one command.
Information Services runs Records and Evidence — the teams that process reports, maintain quality control, handle public information requests, and manage the chain of custody for physical evidence. Technical Services keeps the department’s computers, in-car systems, and software running.
Support Services keeps officers equipped and vehicles running — coordinating the issue and upkeep of every piece of departmental equipment and every vehicle in the fleet. It is also home to Animal Control Services, whose officers respond to animal-related calls across College Station and work hand in hand with the Aggieland Humane Society.
Technicians and police assistants handling report processing, quality control, and public information requests.
Evidence technicians managing intake and chain of custody for physical property.
9-1-1 call-taking and police, fire, and EMS dispatch.
Officers responding to animal calls citywide, working closely with the Aggieland Humane Society.
