What Communications Does

The Communications Division is the front line of the College Station Police Department. Telecommunicators answer all emergency and non-emergency calls from residents and visitors around the clock. The hub of all operations for police, fire, and EMS, Communications is the door to a promising law enforcement career.

Communications offers a $5,000 hiring bonus for TCOLE-certified candidates with 2 or more years of service. Telecommunicators are offered certification pay, specialty pay, and room to grow in one of the most cutting-edge emergency communications centers in the state.
