What Criminal Investigations Does

The Criminal Investigations Division picks up where the first response ends. Detectives conduct follow-up investigations on offenses across College Station, carrying cases from the initial report all the way through prosecution.

Detective specialties include Crimes Against Persons, Crimes Against Property, Juvenile Offenses, Fraud, Major Crimes, and Special Investigations covering narcotics and gangs. The division also houses the Crime Scene Unit and a Victim Advocacy team who support our citizens through the hardest days of their lives.
